Make Up Classes
We offer one make up class per term. All make ups are dependant on availability and are not a guarantee. You must notify your absence via the customer portal ahead of the lesson (minimum 4hrs) in order to be eligible for a make up class option. A make up class must be booked within 14 days of the absence - they cannot be banked for later in the term or carried over to a new term.
All make up classes must be booked using the customer portal. We are unable to arrange make up classes via email.
If you have multiple ‘unmarked absences’ you may be refused the option to book a make up class. All make up class availability is dependent on customers marking absences to allow others to use their space.
Step 1: Advise your absence on the customer portal
Please log into the customer portal via the link in the right hand corner of our website or your booking confirmation email. An app can also be downloaded on your phone (both iPhone and android).
Note your absence on the customer portal within the ‘classes’ —> ‘view enrolments’ or ‘notify abscences’ section using one of the below absence reasons:
Absent
Travel
Illness
Party
Injury
Step 2: Book a make up class
You will now be able to book a make up class via the ‘book make up’ tab on the customer portal. Please click ‘add to cart’ and this will submit your request.
All available options will be shown. If no options are shown this is due to there not being any current availability for your child’s class level. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide any further options via email and advise that you check regularly for updated availability via this section of the portal.
If your portal shows ‘expired’ or ‘exceeded’ when trying to book a make up this means you are out with the make up booking window or you have used all your make up classes for the term. This means you are not entitled to the make up class you are trying to book. We cannot override this via email.
STEP 3: Make up class confirmation
You will then receive an email confirmation of your make up class booking via email within 24-48hrs. We will notify you via email if the make up class is unable to be confirmed.
Please do not attend the make up class unless you have received an email confirmation as your child will not appear on the register and the staff at the venue may refuse entry.
STEP 4: Attend your make up class
Please attend the make up class you have booked and received confirmation for.
Should you choose not to attend the booked make up class this will still count as a used make up and you will not be able to book another within the same term. We are unable to cancel make up classes after they are booked.
If you have marked your child absent on the system you no longer have access to that class. Should you then choose to attend your class you are at risk of your child being unable to enter the class if another customer has booked a make-up class within your space. Please contact us should your circumstances change after registering an absence.
